  3. The flower features a very deep, rich yellow-orange (golden) hue. The transition of shades is described as a soft gradient, moving from peach to apricot, with delicate pink or red streaks on the petals. Currently, it is considered one of the darkest and most richly toned yellow tulips among the Darwin hybrid varieties.

  6. Like all Darwin hybrids, ‘Golden Springtime’ is characterized by high vigor, a good rate of propagation, and resistance to the tulip breaking virus. The bulbs should be planted outdoors in the autumn (September–October) in a sunny, well-drained location sheltered from strong winds. This variety looks magnificent in mass landscape plantings and remains fresh for a long time when used in spring bouquets.
