Chamaedorea.

Chamaedorea (Latin: Chamaedorea) is a genus of low-growing palms popular in indoor gardening due to their low maintenance and shade tolerance.
Key characteristics and care in 2025:
Lighting: Prefers partial shade or filtered light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves. It grows well even near north-facing windows or under artificial lighting.

Temperature: Optimal temperatures range from 18°C to 24°C. Protect the plant from drafts.
Watering: Moderate watering is recommended every 1–2 weeks (less frequently in winter, every 2–3 weeks). The plant is sensitive to both overwatering and prolonged drought.

Humidity: Requires high humidity. Regular misting of the leaves is necessary, especially during the heating season.
Flowering: May produce yellow flowers reminiscent of mimosa. However, flowering takes a lot of energy from the palm, so removing the flower stalks is often recommended.
