Lady of Shalott Rose

English rose seedlings Lady of Shalott. Lady of Shalott (Lediof Shalott) The rose is named after the heroine of the poems - the Lady of Shalott, an enchanted inhabitant of King Arthur's Camelot castle. Bred in 2009 by the famous breeder David Austin, who bred one of the most popular varieties combining the advantages of, as a rule, two different varieties.

And therefore they are affectionately called "Austinki", in honor of their "parent". Like a true English Lady, the Lady of Shalott bush is slender and elegant with a fairly rich aroma, with notes of cloves and apple-pear syrup.

Against the background of dense dark green foliage, densely double flowers of a peach-red hue sparkle, and a golden tint plays on their back, up to 10 cm in diameter. The height of the bush is 100-120 cm, a lush bush is formed quite quickly, the thorns are small. Flowering is long, but wavy.

The variety is moderately resistant to diseases, winter-hardy, but in regions with severe frosts it is advisable to think about shelter in advance.

Loves well-drained soil and sunny places protected from strong winds. Lady of Shalott will be a worthy decoration of your garden.
