Zantedeschia is a genus of perennial herbaceous plants of the Araceae family. Some species of this genus.
Calla lilies (Zantedeschia) are elegant houseplants that, with proper care, can bloom for two to four months.
Basic care guidelines for 2025:
Lighting: Prefers bright but indirect light. East- or west-facing windows are best. On a south-facing window, the plant should be shaded during midday to prevent sunburn.
Temperature:
Summer: Optimal 18–25°C.
Winter (rest period): Requires cool temperatures of about 12–14°C.
Watering and humidity:
Watering: Plentiful (3–4 times a week during the growing season), but avoid stagnant water in the tray.
