Syngonium is a spectacular tropical vine in the Araceae family.

Syngonium is a spectacular tropical vine in the Araceae family. It is prized for its beautiful arrow-shaped leaves, which change shape with age. It grows quickly and requires bright, filtered light, regular watering, and high humidity. To grow a healthy and beautiful syngonium, it is important to follow a few rules:

Syngonium is a spectacular
 tropical vine in the
 Araceae family.

Basic conditions for syngonium Lighting: Bright, filtered light. Variegated varieties require more light to maintain their pattern, while green varieties can grow in partial shade. Watering: In summer, water moderately immediately after the top layer of soil dries. In winter, reduce watering. Humidity: Requires high humidity (60–80%). Mist the plant regularly or use a humidifier. Temperature: A comfortable temperature of 18–24° C (64–75° F) is ideal. The plant does not tolerate drafts. Suitable supports and substrate Support: Syngonium is a climbing vine.

To encourage shoots to grow upward and form a large bush, use moss support. Without it, the plant will grow as a trailing plant or groundcover. Soil: The soil should be loose, slightly acidic, and well-drained. A ready-made substrate for aroids works well.

Important: The plant is poisonous. Syngonium sap can irritate skin and mucous membranes, so it's best to wear gloves when handling (pruning, repotting).
