Perennials have long erect stems. Leaf blades can be located vertically or prostrate. They have serrated or entire edges. Umbelliform inflorescences of 2-4 buds have 4-27 sepals. The fruits of the plant are nut-shaped, their surface can be slightly pubescent or smooth.
