The homeland of this plant is considered to be one of the states of Mexico - Puebla. Unlike other species, it begins to branch out as it grows. It develops multi-leafed, spherical rosettes.
The leaves themselves are curved, strongly pointed at the ends, with a thorn. On the inside, you can find a keel. A very beautiful plant, looks especially good with a two-meter peduncle.
