Wisteria

 Wisterias are generally a series of large woody deciduous vines. The most common species called wisteria is Chinese Wisteria (Wisteria sinensis (Sims) DC.). The common generic name is often also applied to Japanese Wisteria (Wisteria floribunda) and some other species.

 The perennial, well-developed plant is up to 15-18 m tall, with drooping liana branches, odd-pinnate leaves up to 30 cm long, with 7-13 leaflets. It blooms in spring at the end of March - purple fragrant flowers are formed, collected in hanging brushes.
