While most of us tend to think of tulips as big-flowered beauties that need to be replanted every year, wild tulips, or botanical tulips, are true perennials. What their flowers lack in size, they make up for in profusion, and they’ll come back again the following year. Tulip humilis ‘Norah’ falls into this group, and while this low-growing plant variety isn’t part of the tulip aristocracy, it certainly deserves to be!

Tulip humilis ‘Norah’s pink flowers with darker centers are sure to turn heads, and you’ll get the added benefit of multiple seasons of bloom if the bulbs have been planted in well-drained soil. This is definitely not a variety you’ll find just anywhere.
