Violet.

 There are many legends and tales about the violet that have survived to this day. According to one legend, the modest light purple flower with a delicate aroma is associated with the death of Attis, the beloved of the Phrygian goddess Cybele, according to another, it is a transformed tear of gratitude from Adam for the good news brought by the Archangel Gabriel about God's forgiveness of all his sins.

 Among all the colorful diversity of violets, the fragrant violet has always enjoyed particular popularity and love. The ancient Greeks considered it a flower of sadness, and at the same time it was a symbol of awakening nature, its annual renewal. Not a single holiday was complete without these flowers.
