Rhipsalis

 Rhipsalis are loved for their original appearance and the need for minimal care.

 The genus unites more than 50 species of plants that are not very similar in appearance. Some look like green sticks, others surprise with their flowering, and others with their fruits. But they all belong to epiphytic cacti, which require bright lighting and high humidity.

 Rhipsalis is often called twig in everyday life, because the most common types have shoots in the form of thin green twigs. It is native to the tropical rainforests of Africa, South Asia and America. Most often, rhipsalis grow not on the ground, but on tree trunks.

 In indoor floriculture, rhipsalis have been cultivated for a long time and successfully; they are in great demand for landscaping florariums and winter gardens.
